Singing to learn

During this activity apprentices from the group CONTABILIDAD Y FINANZAS 813277, prepared an English song to sing for a karaoke class. A special software was used in order to grade students’ English pronunciation, musical notes and fluency while singing. This helped them be less shy and more excited about using spoken English. Also, they were exposed to different adjectives and nouns provided by this singular program called ULTRASTAR.

The voice - Sena

Students from Asistencia Administrativa 893911 really wanted to show their singing and english skills, so together we programmed a karaoke session with some specific song to be able to practice some of the grammar topics we had learnt on the previous classes. They really enjoyed the activity and understood the importance of a good pronunciation.

Be Quick or Lose!

In this activity apprentices from To Contabilidad y Finanzas 813294 competed to show who was faster recognizing both furniture vocabulary and grammar structures used in English to express existence. That is to say, apprentices related vocabulary from the board with either some synonyms or some sentences they listened to from the English instructor. Then this activity helped apprentices to excel themselves in the competence of the language. [by JPS]

Think Metric!

Apprentices from Tn. Construcción de edificaciones 865580 in Socorro were eager to learn how to use the Metric system units. In the picture, the class went out for a walk around downtown in order to estimate the area in square meters of the main square. In this learning activity  students reviewed numbers and quantities, and they practiced how to express orally some metric units of measurement between street distances.
